In Phoenix and Los Angeles califone will be a large band – joined onstage by Wooden Indian (they’re incredible) and longtime pal and collaborator Michael Krassner of Boxhead Ensemble.
The 6/7 show in Madison will be a very special duo show with Ben Massarella. We haven’t played the two piece- me and ben / percussion and guitar/piano jams configuration for a very long time. can an exorcism happen in broad daylight? in wisconsin? we will find out.
Really looking forward to all of these shows. hope to see you out there.
& once again big thanks to all the hosts and all the folks that came out to the living room shows last month. I have never toured alone before and you all made it good for me. pretty incredible to play these songs in the way that most of them were originally written. kind of scary. felt a little naked at times but it was amazing to lean into the words and dig in. thanks for making me feel safe enough to take risks in front of you. I truly appreciate it.
