via Hired Hand & The Boxhead Ensemble

The new 20 track double LP from The Boxhead Ensemble is available for preorder here now. The players include Michael Krassner, Tim Rutili (Califone – Official Page), James Becker, Shahzad Ismaily, Fred Lonberg-Holm and Jim R White (Dirty Three) These sessions were originally recorded for Braden King’s movie HERE and run the gamut from sparse and atmospheric to abrasive and transcendental. We’ll be hosting a proper release show on March 24th in Chicago at Constellation Chicago, but for those of you who cannot make it, we’ve got you covered here.
